Monika Grzymala b. 1970
Monika Grzymala is a contemporary graphic and installation artist specializing in spatial drawing and site-specific intervention. After training as a stone sculptor, she studied at the art academies in Karlsruhe, Kassel and Hamburg. Grzymala works with a variety of media as a drawing gesture in space. For her installations and spatial drawings, she uses materials such as adhesive tape, sculptural molding techniques, found objects, film, graphite, brush drawing, handmade paper, scenography, performance and, since 2018, 3D drawing in mixed reality (VR/AR).
