Jacqueline Hen's "Off Grid" transports viewers into a realm that feels otherworldly, like stepping into a digital matrix or portal beyond reality. Crafted from two mirrors that endlessly reflect each other and a meticulously arranged LED grid, the installation draws the eye into an illusion of boundless depth—a seemingly infinite tunnel of light. Echoing her award-winning 2019 installation "Light High," which earned her the International Light Art Award from the Centre for International Light Art in Unna, "Off Grid" blurs the line between physical space and perceptual illusion. The work evokes a sense of immersion into a parallel world, where the familiar laws of space dissolve, inviting the viewer to confront infinity and altered states of perception in a deeply immersive, almost hypnotic experience.
